ASTM G155 is the basic method for evaluating the resistance of materials to the harshest environmental and solar exposure conditions. The standard uses a xenon lamp light source to rapidly simulate the effects of solar UV, such as light intensity, humidity, and heat, which can lead to a loss of aesthetics in non-metallic materials.
