ISO 105-B02 Colour fastness test for textiles -Bench-top Xenon Test Chamber
Publish Time:2024-12-26Views:()
ISO 105-B02 is a test standard issued by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) for the colour fastness of textiles to light. The standard specifies a method for evaluating the colour fastness of textiles to light using xenon arc lamp equipment to simulate daylight (D65 light source).
Scope of application of ISO 105-B02
ISO 105-B02 is applicable to the determination of the colour fastness of textiles of all types and forms, including white textiles (bleached or fluorescent white), to artificial light (simulated natural daylight D65).
Requirements of ISO 105-B02 for test equipment
Light source: ISO 105-B02 specifies xenon arc lamp equipment with a stable light source and filter system capable of simulating the spectral distribution of daylight.
Filters and heat filters: Filters are used to stabilise and attenuate the ultraviolet spectrum and heat filters are used to stabilise and attenuate the infrared spectrum. The transmittance of the filters is at least 90% between 380nm and 750nm and drops to 0 between 310nm and 320nm.
Temperature: Depending on the test conditions (e.g. temperate conditions commonly used in Europe or conditions in the USA), the black panel temperature varies, usually between 50°C and 63°C.
Irradiance: The amount of radiation is measured with a radiometer and is recommended to be 42W/m² (wavelengths between 300nm and 400nm) equivalent to 1.1W/m² (wavelengths at 420nm) in water-cooled xenon lamp equipment.
Sonacme technology Bench-top Xenon Test Chamber
Light source: 1.8KW of the original imported air-cooled xenon lamp or 1.8KW of domestic xenon lamp (normal service life of about 1500 hours)
Filter: UV extension filter (can also choose daylight filter or window glass filter)
Effective exposure area: 1000cm² (one time can put 150 × 70mm sample plate 9)
Irradiance monitoring mode: 340nm or 420nm or 300nm ~ 400nm (choose one before ordering)
Irradiance setting range: 30W/M²~100W/M² (300nm~400nm)
or 0.3 W/M²~0.8 W/M² (@ 340nm)
or 0.5 W/M² ~1.5 W/M² (@ 420nm)
Blackboard temperature setting range: room temperature +20 ℃ ~ +90 ℃ (according to the use of environmental temperature and irradiance setting value of the size of different)
Sonacme Technology Bench-top Xenon Test Chamber is a compact, simple and affordable xenon test chamber, which adopts a low-power, air-cooled xenon lamp, and ensures sufficiently large and uniform distribution of irradiation energy inside the test chamber through a mirror reflection system. It is fitted with a violet epitaxial filter as standard, allowing UV light to pass below the natural solar cut-off point (equivalent to un-atmospheric sunlight), and is used to provide faster and harsher test conditions for accelerated artificial climate aging tests.
Sonacme Technology's Bench-top Xenon Test Chamber meets the testing requirements of the ISO 105-B02 standard in terms of light source and irradiance control, temperature control, filtration system, sample exposure and evaluation, and other features. Therefore, the test chamber can be used to carry out textile colour fastness to light tests under ISO 105-B02. If you need more details, please feel free to contact us.
