Sonacme Technology's Altitude Test Chamber simulates high-altitude and low-pressure environment testing capabilities.

Sonacme Technology's Altitude Test Chamber can simulate altitudes up to 100,000 feet, while providing temperature regulation from -70°C to +180°C.

Overview of Altitude Test Chamber:

Altitude testing, also known as low-voltage testing, is performed according to MIL-STD 810 methods to ensure that chamber can withstand and operate in low-voltage testing or high-altitude testing environments. Low pressure testing is used for air transport of materials on aircraft, equipment designed to be installed at high altitudes, and for explosive decompression due to aircraft damage. Manufacturers of any airborne equipment should consider the impact that high altitude testing or low pressure testing may have on their products.

Low-voltage testing can simulate problems that can arise at high altitudes, such as:

Gas or liquid leaks in gasketed enclosures

Sealed container ruptures or explodes

Changes in physicochemical properties of low-density materials

Arcing or corona causing unstable operation or malfunction of equipment

Overheating of equipment due to reduced heat transfer

Evaporation of lubricant

Engine start and combustion instability

seal failure

Sonacme Technology's Altitude Test Chambers meets the test specifications:

ASTM D4169 Schedule I

ASTM D6653

MIL-STD 202 Method 105 Atmospheric Pressure

MIL-STD 750 Method 1001 Atmospheric Pressure

MIL-STD 810 Method 500

MIL-STD-883 Method 1001

RTCA/DO-160G Section 4.0
