In the broad field of material science and quality control, UV aging tester of sonacme technology is playing an increasingly important role as the key equipment to simulate the harsh conditions of natural environment. With the in-depth implementation of the ISO 4892-3:2016 standard, the accuracy, reliability and standardization level of test equipment has put forward higher requirements.

ISO 4892-3:2016 is an international standard on exposure test methods for plastic materials under laboratory light sources, with a particular focus on tests using fluorescent ultraviolet lamps (UV fluorescent lamps). It specifies methods for exposing specimens to fluorescent UV radiation, heat and water to simulate the weathering effects that occur when materials are exposed to global solar radiation or to solar radiation through window glass in an actual end-use environment. The method is suitable for evaluating the weathering resistance and aging stability of a wide range of materials such as plastics, rubbers, paints, coatings, coatings, paints, fibers, textiles, rubbers, and elastomers when exposed to UV radiation.

1. Type of light source

Sonacme's UV aging tester adopts advanced fluorescent UV lamp technology to accurately simulate the UV portion of global solar radiation, especially the UV-A (wavelength of 340nm) or UV-B (wavelength of 313nm) two types of light sources, which are able to highly return to the UV irradiation that raw materials are subjected to in the real-world application environment. This design ensures the accuracy and reliability of the test results, providing solid data support for material research and development, product improvement and quality control.

2. Test conditions

Irradiance can be set range: 0.3 W/M2 ~ 1.55 W/M2

Blackboard temperature setting range: room temperature +10 ℃ ~80 ℃

Temperature and humidity: Exposure to controlled environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity and possible wetting cycles

Water consumption: 7L/day (condensation water); 3L/minute (spray water)

Following the ISO 4892-3:2016 standard, sonacme technology's test chambers are not only equipped with adjustable radiation intensity, temperature and humidity control, but also with advanced wetting systems, such as spraying and condensation systems, to simulate humidity variations under different climatic conditions. This highly customized test environment meets the aging test needs of a wide range of materials from plastics, rubber, coatings to textiles in different application scenarios, helping users to comprehensively assess the weathering resistance and aging stability of materials.

UV Aging Test Chamber is only one of the environmental climate test chambers provided by sonacme technology, we have also developed constant Temperature and Humidity Test Chambers, Cold and Hot Shock Test Chambers, High and Low Temperature Test Chambers and other test equipment in line with international standards, and support customized services.

Sonacme Technology's UV-ultraviolet aging test chamber not only meets the requirements of ISO 4892-3:2016 test methods, but also provides personalized aging test solutions according to different needs of customers, and monitors and records data in real time during the test to provide customers with a full range of services.
