ASTM G154, is ‘Procedure for Accelerated Exposure Tests of Nonmetallic Materials in Artificial Climates’, mainly applies to a variety of nonmetallic materials such as plastics, rubbers, coatings, paints, fibers and adhesives, etc. The standard is a test method for the exposure of nonmetallic materials using fluorescent light equipment. This standard is a test method for exposing non-metallic materials using fluorescent UV equipment, and the UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber of Sonacme Technology is designed and manufactured based on this standard.

Sonacme Technology UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber test conditions:

Irradiance can be set range: 0.3 W/M2 ~ 1.55 W/M2

Blackboard temperature setting range: room temperature +10 ℃ ~ 80 ℃

Temperature and humidity: exposure to controlled environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity and possible wet cycle

Water consumption: 7L/day (condensation water); 3L/minute (spray water)

The ASTM G154 standard specifies in detail the operating procedures for conducting accelerated exposure tests, including the preparation of test samples, the selection of test conditions, the selection and use of test facilities, the test cycle, and the method of evaluation at the end of the test. The UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber of Sonacme Technology fully meets these requirements. The tester adopts advanced fluorescent UV lamps and condensation device, which can simulate the aging effect of materials in sunlight (directly or through window glass) and moisture (rain or dew). The chambers also have the ability to precisely control conditions such as light source type, temperature, humidity and UV irradiation to meet the testing needs of different materials.

During testing, Sonacme Technology's UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber is capable of exposing samples to repeated cycles of light and humidity as specified in ASTM G154. Humidity is usually achieved by condensation of water vapour on the sample surface. The chambers are also equipped with monitoring equipment such as irradiance meter and thermometers to ensure that conditions such as irradiation energy and temperature received by the sample are in accordance with the standard requirements.

The UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber is only one of the environmental climate test chambers provided by Sonacme Technology. We have also developed xenon lamp aging test chambers, rapid temperature change test chambers, cold and hot shock test chambers, rain test chambers and other test equipment in line with international standards, as well as support for customized services.

Sonacme Technology's UV Lamp Weathering Test Chamber not only meets the requirements of ASTM G154 test method, but also provides personalized aging test solutions according to customers' different needs, and monitors and records data in real time during the test to provide customers with a full range of services.
