The battery combustion tester is composed of control box, vertical air box, combustion nozzle, solenoid valve, high-voltage igniter, wire sample fixture, gas pipe, gas source, internal and external flame regulating device and signal control line.
Its function is to test the safety performance of the battery through the combustion test. It is an essential testing equipment for battery manufacturers and research institutes.
Now let's take a look at the operation steps of the battery combustion tester: 1. Before the test, please confirm that the battery combustion tester should be placed in a separate laboratory. Before the test, the window of the laboratory should be opened to maintain air circulation, and the propane cylinder should be placed farther away from the horizontal distance of the instrument (this is very important).
2. When testing with this machine for the first time, please connect the connecting pipe between the air source and the control box. 3. Before the test, place the sample (battery) on the combustion screen of the center hole of the platen, and ensure that the battery is in the center of the center hole of the platen. 4. Place the multi-layer gauze vertically in front of the control box, and the horizontal measurement distance from the center of the screen to the gauze screen is 0.91M (i.e. the horizontal distance between the gauze screen and the box is 0.51M).
5. Start the gas switch. Because the gas pipeline is long, wait a few minutes to make the gas enter the Bunsen burner throat.
