Standard description
SAEJ 2527 is a test standard for the exposure of automotive exterior materials to accelerated testing in controlled irradiance Xenon Lamp Weathering Test Chambers. It is designed to simulate the ageing resistance of automotive exterior materials in extreme environments, including sunlight, heat and humidity. For the purpose of predicting the durability of automotive exterior parts, the standard provides detailed provisions for test equipment, test conditions, test methods and evaluation of test results.
